I'm working on compiling my Top ten list for 2009, but until then I will list the Top 10 movies that I should have seen last year but DIDN'T. Coincidentally, this list looks a lot like my current Netflix que.
1. World's Greatest Dad - Written and directed by Bobcat Goldthwait. It appears to be Robin Williams first decent movie in many years.
2. The Hurt Locker - Kathryn Bigelow's acclaimed Iraq war drama. It's been on just about everyone's top 10 lists. Why haven't I seen this yet?
3. The Informant! -From what I hear it's mostly worth seeing just for Matt Damon's performance.
4. In The Loop-War satire starring James Gandofini.
5. Sin Nombre-Gritty Mexican drama.
6. The White Ribbon-From what I hear one of the scariest/creepist of the year.
7. Anti-Christ-See above.
8.The Cove-Documentary about illegal dolphin killing in Japan.
9. Anvil- The Story of Anvil-Documentary about forgotten metal band Anvil. Still trying to "make" it.
10. 500 Days of Summer-I didn't see it because it seemed a little too "cutesy". But it has gotten great reviews.
